Following Monday's session, the worst single day in 2 years for stocks, the hammering continues today.
The Dow drops more than 700 points on Tuesday's afternoon session, or more than 2.5%, hitting session lows after health officials warned about the possibility of a greater coronavirus spread in the U.S. The S&P 500 dove 2.4% while the Nasdaq Composite fell 2.2%
Meanwhile, bond yields headed south too raising more concern that the global economy is slowing significantly because of the spreading virus. The 10-year Treasury yield hit a record low as the Dow Jones Industrial Average added to Monday’s 1,000-point drop
